Solitare

Classically trained as a pianist and immersed in psychedelic trance since 1994, Mark Ainley — DJ Solitare — is one of the most respected names in the global Goa Trance movement. His sets fuse rare classics, unreleased gems and cutting-edge productions, a deep musical knowledge that has carried him across Europe, Asia and North America, sharing stages with Space Tribe, X-Dream, Juno Reactor, Tsuyoshi Suzuki, Etnica, Crop Circles and Psychaos, and headlining O.Z.O.R.A, ZNA Gathering, Apsara Festival and VÉR – Exploring the Roots. Away from the booth, he works as a music writer, compilation producer and label representative for DAT Universe and Matsuri Digital, with his Retro Goa Explorations series documenting the history of the genre he has long championed.
