Chutney Mary
Biography
Goa-based artist Avril Stormy Unger operates as Chutney Mary, a multidisciplinary performer spanning drag, stand-up, and DJing. In 2023, she founded QRAVE, a club night platforming queer, trans, and women DJs, producers, and visual artists. She also co-founded the queer trans collective The Audacity! and has co-produced Mix Fruit Juice at Barefoot Goa while hosting Flower Tools under the QRAVE banner—a series of gatherings cultivating space for queer, trans, and gender-diverse communities.
