Chema Escudero
Biography
A guardian of Goa Trance history, Madrid-based Chema Escudero has been collecting and spinning the genre's original psychedelic sound on vinyl since 1994, shaped by the British and German underground scenes. His sets pair uplifting melodies with acid-infused 303 grooves, drawn from a deep archive of classics and rare gems on labels such as Matsuri, Koyote, Flying Rhino, TIP Records and Phantasm. An official DAT Records label DJ from 2015 to 2024, he represents Suntrip Records and is widely respected for a technical mastery of vinyl that few can match. His journey has carried him to dancefloors across Europe and beyond, from ZNA Gathering and Apsara Festival to Rogatka in Israel, VER – Exploring the Roots in Goa and the Amsterdam Dance Event, sharing stages with Etnica, X-Dream, The Muses Rapt, Green Nuns of the Revolution, Tsuyoshi Suzuki, Jaïa, Total Eclipse and Shakta.
